My dad bought this about 15 years ago and slowly I started borrowing it more than he was using it, then it got stored at my house, and now it's mine. I put new tires on it a few years ago, but the wood is all original... and rotted. Time for new paint and planks!
Here's how the trailer looked August 10, loaded up with 400 pounds of old satellite antenna. But hauling it both empty and full over a couple hundred miles, I decided now is the time to fix up that rattly old sled. The welds that held the fenders to the frame broke long ago, so the rotting wood side slats are sort of holding the fenders on. The plywood floor is spongy and delaminating. The lights may or may not work.
