There is a portable water pump on the dock. We hook it up to that hose, and plug it into the A/C power line, which is connected to a generator upstairs. The water is pumped up the hill and into the upstairs of the cabin, where there are three 35-gallon water tanks. The water system is gravity-feed, and allows for running water in the kitchen, toilet, and shower, which has hot water thanks to an RV water heater, which runs off a 12-volt battery system and the propane, which is also used for the lights and stove. And that wasn't too bad a run-on sentence, either. ;-) | |
