This is cabin firewood, stacked between the cabin itself ~ which is heated with an iron wood stove ~ and the fire pit outside.

I use the tire to hold up smaller logs that need to be split. The tire holds from two to four logs, depending upon their size, and keeps them from falling over. I can move in a circle around the tire, chopping the whole time instead of picking up fallen logs.

This tire is a classic Wide O Oval bias ply with raised white letters on the other side. I should have put it on eBay instead of drilling drain holes in it! But eBay didn't exist yet when I started whacking this tire with an axe.
