This is kinda messed up, but my kid thinks it's cool to shoot an Uzi all gangsta' style. She tried 'em all: a .22 pistol, a .22 rifle, a 9mm handgun, a .357 revolver, and this 9mm Uzi. Maybe she's ready to move up to big girl toys...!

Too cool - do you have a range near by where she can try a Desert Eagle 50 calibre pistol - I have to admit, thats the only handgun that gave me a real challenge -lol

Is that full auto?

COOL! is this your gun collection?

Check the tags. ;-)

No, it's semi-auto.

We need a security force! Remember that stolen fotos snafu?!
May 27 2008 16:55 GMT JPHarr
I don't know 'bout that, Doody. What if she loses control of it and knocks a hole in her forehead from the recoil? ;-)

Only the .22 rifle is mine; the rest is my dad's stuff.

Thats frightenly true - I was shooting on a 30 lane range in Florida & another brit about 15 lanes away from me left the ground every time I fired - his family were wetting them selves laughing ...

The .357 packs a huge wallop and I'd be a lot more respectful of it than any of the rest. About the same caliber as the 9mm, the shells my dad had in stock were about four times as gun powdery. It's like shooting a damn cannon!

i used a Uzi in the navy ...but with a short barrel ...great !!
May 27 2008 17:10 GMT JPHarr
Yeah ~ we wondered how it would shoot with NO barrel screwed in. =)

Before they were banned over here I had a lovely 22short S&W snubby. with a hair trigger for 25 yard range comps & a 38 S&W ex police issue. A 9mm semi & a Ruger 22 rifle. Now having just sold my 410 shot gun & my Beretta 682 Gold E over & under, I'm down to an old imported 3 shot semi 12 gauge...

I gotta get this one on my side first, THEN push mom's hammock too high. ;-)

A shotgun is all you need for proper home defense and some nice wild game to stock your winter freezer. Nice collection you had, though! I did at one time possess a .22 Ruger semi-auto pistol. All black. Very accurate. Nice shootin'. But guns don't get me too excited, so I'm mostly a bystander.

And discover she can throw something at you from high up in her hammock, with a smile revealing the pin between her teeth.

Doh! Oh yeah! Long barrell!

Heh heh - look at her gigglin' - good on them to be so brave!

Shooting really is a challenge, it is good they respect firearms and if they ever need to, they know the basic operation.... still, it can be fun! Remember Annie Oakley!?!
Maybe you'll have a trick shooter in your family there JP!! :)))
Brave girls are cool!!!

That smile and the hair trigger finger is looking like a pro :)

I want to go camping next time! Looks like fun :)

The .357 Magnum revolver was the biggest gun in the arsenal and she loved all of them.
May 28 2008 11:39 GMT paparazziboy
you mean the nude's i have from most members?
May 28 2008 11:42 GMT JPHarr
My father has joined a local conservation club, where they encourage responsible hunting, among other things. He also obtained a concealed carry license, requiring him to spend some time learning more about responsible gun handling. He and I did our best to explain the workings of the weapons and their safety features. Boring... but necessary.
Your last sentence is the best! Brave girls ARE cool. So are strong girls, as are confident girls. Cheers, buddy!

The smile is a little disconcerting! Any kid holding an Uzi should look like they mean it.

There has been a cabin in the family for the past 25 years or so. It's in national forest land on a little lake. Lots of fire roads and trails for exploring/breaking cars. All the firewood we could ever use. Refreshing quiet respite from the hustle of the city. Maybe I should host a F-thing weekend up there! Who's coming???
May 28 2008 11:47 GMT JPHarr
I'm not sure what your comment means, P-boy, but if you're requesting a nude of me for your collection, I'll see what I can do.... ;-)
May 28 2008 16:34 GMT TRICKS4U
Count me in JP!

I think you posted pics of the cabin last summer possibly? Loved it.

Yah, I post from here a couple times a year. Bring your FJ and we'll tear off some body panels! WOO-HOO!

HA! I'll bring my blow gun for dessert :)
