I pick "love" as my theme. Sorry the foto's not so good; it was shot on film
and this copy came on the CD when I had the film processed.

On the first anniversary of my sister's and brother-in-law's wedding, they came across the state, bringing her dress and a rented tuxedo. We got up early in the morning and went out to the beach at Grand Haven. I wanted to get there before the sun reached the beach, and we just made it, sometime around 7:00 AM. As the sun came over the tops of the trees and painted the cold sand with new light, Jen and Brad walked down to the water's edge, me trailing with my Pentax K1000 and two rolls of film. At first we did some cute stuff and some standard stuff. But we started getting cold while loosening up a bit, which made us move around more while the smiles became more real. I wish I'd had yet another roll of film with me, because by the end of the second roll, it was a lot of fun, and here's an example.
After our outing, the two lovebirds, missus JP, the kids and I all went out for a great, hearty breakfast at a local diner. Jen said that these fotos were better than the ones they had taken at the wedding, as they showed their real personalities, their real relationship.
