I had a short road trip yesterday, and I took the back roads home. The old state highway parallels the newer U.S. highway, and the forlorn little towns that pop up every few miles are packed with old stories. Littered with abandoned gas stations turned into other small businesses, grain silos and feed mills, and sometimes these old beasts that I shot with my Olympus.

I love this stuff!

Scrapyards are great. This batch that I fotographed yesterday were just out and about; no scrapyard crawling. I just stopped along the roadway for these.

i saw some great interresting scrapyards on our vacation in CA ...still have regrets that i didnt take time to make some shots of it !!

These old items are fun to photograph. California is a great place to find these relics too. You do a really good job with these JP.
