Check out the trigger to the left on the door handle... a prehistoric joystick! I remember these for the rear turn indicators and how they flashed...that was so cool :)

That early joystick is the side mirror adjuster. I have one on my Mercury, too. Was it those taillights that flashed sequentially, one-two-three / one-two-three / one-two-three? I know the Mercury Cougar had those, but didn't know the T-bird did.

You're right JP! I remember the Cougar's tail lights, but maybe those tbird's didn't...scratching my head...dying laughing!!! I'll be pondering that one for a while now!
