What do you call this machine there? We call it "Trapiche" here. Now the name as doble meaning for local people, cause a "madhouse" was built on a place where one of these used to be, in the 50's, and since the Trapiche is sinonims of mad, cucoo, nuts etc! ;)
I don't know what the machine is called. When we went there I thought there would be more of the sugar mill. All that is there is a post office and a couple gift stores. Nothing to do with the sugar mill. I don't know if it was a nuthouse at any time. But I felt kind of crazy thinking there was going to be more there. Your picture with the sugar mill parts made me think of going to see this place. Oh, well.
