I am back from my trip to San Antonio. My second favorite place (First of course is Hawaii) I took 265 pictures.
Mission Trail.
Fourth stop. Mission Espada.
This is Espada Aqueduct.
Each mission had its own irrigation system. This is the only one that they have maintained.

I'm really enjoying your pictures. In a way, you're like me. I love to go out and shoot pictures of history, even if it's only local. These remind me of the El Camino Real (the "King's" highway), which runs from Mexico up to the Pacific Northwest. It's the road which connects all the California Missions.

Hawk59: very busy day yesterday and went to bed early. it is now 1.20am daylight saving. I had a biopsy taken yesterday from my face. Wont know the results until tuesday. But well accustomed to bad news. "Helping other people helps me forget about my problems"
