Beautiful :) These are awesome caterpillars! You could capture one in a container and put pieces of this plant in with it. It is very interesting to watch the changes - from caterpilar to chrysalis - and then when the butterfly emerges, you will always remember what kind of butterfly it becomes :))

If you do this...please let me know, because I'm curious as to what kind of butterfly it becomes too :))

I would like to do such a thing, but I don't think these will still be caterpillars when I can visit them again :s

...probably not, but usually they make a chrysalis close by...if you look ;)
