Only just found this photo - but what a find - marvellous capture, love it.

Never quite sure weather to call it backlight or counterlight, whichever it produce a wonderful halo effect, well captured.

I know what you mean...isnt backlight technically light from behind the photographer !? Counterlight? sounds interesting?....I like to get things right :-))

Know I think they are both the same maybe backlight is aimed at the subject .. and counter light is generally when you shoot into it whether there is a specific subject or not ?? Anyway maybe I'll google it when I have a chance .. work beckons
