This is Andy whose furniture I helped move today to a local council run flat.. He was moving out of his house where he had lived for 30 years. His wife had left him and he had been forced to leave because he could not afford to take over the house. All the rooms in his house were cluttered with junk and he used to sleep downstairs on the couch, along with his cat. The top floor was taken over by tools...fishing gear and assorted paraphernalia.
He bossed me and my guys around all day and was very cranky.I liked him.

Well I almost turned round and walked away from the house, when first asked to quote by a solicitor who was dealing with the situation.
I Chatted to Andy and realised he was just being very defensive ad probably it has been him who has been bossed around as a child..

Great portrait dear Geoff! You apparently gained Andy's trust: he seems so
optimistic in spite of the difficult circumstances...
A job well done in more than one way!!!
