I like your idea to put these seasons side by side a lot Sylvia !! On the one hand I would like to start again with that at the right side. But on the other hand I wouldn't appreciate spring at its value without having known the three others.........!! I hope you understand my train of thought....

Dave - I made a copy of the original photo and cropped the right side away. I then adjusted the saturation and exposure of what was left to get a nighttime effect and added some stars (courtesy of Picmonkey). Then I used Picasa's collage tool to put the edited bit back on to the original photo.

i love this - although i'm not looking forward to going to work in the dark and going home in the dark!
