I can't believe there is so much there ! And I am struggling to find any in NZ Hans .. going to have a look today though

I should probably edit the caption, but here goes, for Hans and Rog and anyone else who's interested: This beach was our town's dump from 1949 - 1967. People used to dump entire CARS off the cliffs! Occasionally, one might find actual RED glass taillights, but they are becoming fewer and fewer as the years go by since the dump's closure. Embedded in the rocks one might find metal that is slowly being reclaimed and molded by the sea into 'new' rocks. It's interesting, because you can find spark plugs, brass buttons, rings, the odd dog tag, jewelry of different types, other car parts and of course, everything from a kitchen, including knives, forks, spoons, glassware, porcelain and of course, the ever-present glass from bottles of just about every kind imaginable. :) Come visit the new Sea Glass Lover's Website, at

i never had heard from beachglass before ...only from Londi ... and we searched and found some at Curacao on our last vacation there !!! :-)
