Thanks. I had no idea the deer family was there. I had crossed the road from one trail where the Death Cap mushroom was, to another trail that leads into the Walkin Camps at MacKerricher. There were some bicyclists making a lot of noise approaching along the Haul Road from the south that divides the east and west trails - and they heard THEM rather than ME.....but at one point realized I was there and very slowly ran away from me. . .

thanks, sini....her babies had run ahead of her, then ran back behind her...she seemed so confused....but did get away safely.
