This policeboat was run ashore 1,5 km from the sea when it was hit by the Tsunami waves on december 26, 2004. Now it lies as a memorial where it was beached. :-(

Some people said we might found it again in 2009 or 2010! I just hope they were wrong....

The tsunami is an act of nature. There is nothing we can do to stop it. It may appear again tomorrow or in a hundred years. We donīt know. But we got to go on. Warningsystems has been set up. If it happens again we must hope that these systems work......
