Thanx Peter.......Yes it is...I'm just glad that it at least has a chance to recover some of the fish runs .....it will def. create a ton of new spawning grounds...

Is it a goods river for fishing....it looks to be. Did they have a fish ladder at the dam?

It was a fantastic river for fishing......but because there were No fishladders or any other means for migration....it left only 7 miles of river bfore the dam for spawning, also the lack of sediment traveling down stream and heavy net fishing greatly affected this as well. The tribe has a hatchery at the mouth and the state has one up river a few miles for both Salmon and Stealhead. I just hope with the moritorium on fishing there some of the wild stock and native stock can replennish and make it a healthy inviroment again.. :-)
