I started to teach myself (with a lot of help from internet) to spin. I bought an antique spinning wheel and Igot some woolfleece to start with. today I received a big bag with (dirty) sheepwool to spin

you can clean and dye your wool before spinning, it will be ready to use afther that.
great you picked up the old craft.
I gave my "old" spinning wheel to an older man in our village who keeps busy spinning and weaving. It's been put to good use now :)

I love old crafts and spinning is relaxing (if all is going like it should )
I will clean first a part of the wool, it is mixed colours from a partilolour sheep. So the dark parts can't get dyed.

gtc126: the spinning is going much better now. Soon I will post a picture of better spun wool.
