Burnaby BC, Canada
On my way to work this morning, I was about 1 km into my drive when I spotted this one sitting in a tree, just 12 feet up and next to the quiet residential road. I TORE home and grabbed the camera. Luck had him still there. I positioned my truck and snapped this one picture. After that it complained "Lens communication problem with body". Quick troubleshooting and turn back to shoot. GONE :(
So I get my first shot of my first sight of a Cooper's Hawk that has been scalped by a poorly placed branch, and fringed, probably by the fact that the lens wasn't 100% properly attached.
I guess that's life! | |
