No, She (interesting that you think of them as she - while to me they are "He" :) ) was resting on someone's arm, so I used photoshop to remove the background and give her a more dramatic back setting. God makes them beautiful - I just happen to be there to record it :)

it always interested me the way we see different objects (or subjects) in different languages...like in English I see people calling cars :*her* for us (Portuguese, Spanish) it would be a *he*... same with butterflies, to us is a *she*...
anyway, not what I came to say: love the butterflies.
I had a look at the archive, brilliant pics, no time to comment in all...
