My first attempt at doing this.on GIMP.
Todays early morning sky and then the rain clouds arrived, shortly after, it started to rain. FULL SIZE IS BEST.

Thanks Peter, the other one was too large for FT enlarge screen the pics remained way to small, so I dumped it... :-((

George its a feature on GIMP called combining, one can add as many pics as you like, but the enlarge screen on FT does not allow more than 3 otherwise the pics are tiny. The curled part is done on pic mapping and copy pasted in to the strip.

Thank you lettat, I use GIMP all the time, I also use Linux (not windows...ever) so GIMP comes with the package and its all free....

Thanks Jim, it took me ages to get to grips with GIMP, I would not swop it for anything else, I now have the hdr programme but have not yet started playing with it yet, more frustration and colourful language ahead !!!!!!!
