I saw this shot and I immediately thought "Wackiest ship In the Army". Was that filmed there???

That film was partially filmed on Kaua`i in 1960, and the pier could have been a part of it, but I don't remember. The more famous use of the Hanalei pier was during the filming of South Pacific in 1958. The structure was rebuilt in 1993 after Hurricane Iniki ruined the upper structure.
