True enough. The coqui frogs are a bit loud. The pond is about 300 feet inland from the surf line.

Last October during and right after the earthquake the ponds clouded up and we thought the Koi might suffocate, but the water cleared after about 4 hours and there they were. Pretty tough fish, I think.
