It was hot and cookies were baking at the time. Great smells for sure. Fine in the spring when the air is cool, but too hot to be in the kitchen during the summer.
The stove is heated by the wood fire in the left-side chamber.

Wow!!! It;s been some time since I seen one of these!!! My grandmother cooked on one of these until the late 1960's....
