Saffi9 : I used a home-made bokeh hood. Just cut the shape you want ( big or small ) into a piece of black card ( stars / hearts / any shape you want ).Then tape the card to the front of the lens hood so you're shooting through a black piece of card with the shape / sized of your choice to great shapes in any bright lights you can find.
Note : This will only work with manual focusing and the lower F number lens you have, the bigger you're going to be able to make the shapes appear !
