The Robin looked less than happy today and I couldnt work out why.
Until now.......
Evidently the mother thrush has also developed a taste for mealworms !!!
And it seems to have beaten the Robin's previous record for the " most worms in it's beak " too !

Actually she's incredibly clumsy !!
She's flown into me a few times now - I think she needs glasses !
As far as I know she had 4 babies, then came back to the nest and had 4 more !
So that's 2 worms each ( including her ! )
In her defence, she's a much bigger bird ! I cant believe how much the robin used to eat ( and the Wren which is half the size of a robin !! )
