great capture! I've yet to be succesful in catching a dragonfly

Nice photo. I seldom see a dragonfly around my home. I wish there were more about.

Thanks - it just settled there for a while and I took about 20 pics of it from various angles / distances. I just liked this one as you get a better perspective of what size it was.

Yeah, this one was taken with a sigma 70-300mm.
An amazing lense for the price, but when compared with canon L lenses you can notice a big difference.
( but you get what you pay for right ? ;) )
