I found these two guys twirling around in mid air, suspended by a single thread. I'm assuming they were having a territorial squabble. (They're both male, so this isn't a courtship dance.) If you look closely you can see the extended mandibles of the lower spider, at the ready. Unfortunately, I blew out my back while leaning forward to capture this shot. Oh, the pain.

Therese, male spiders have bulbs on the end of their palps, which are the short front 'legs' they use to eat with. Thanks for your comment!
