Thanks MS!! It's really not that big for a Gila Monster but compared to most lizards that people encounter in the U.S. it is huge.

they do not get tame as a pet.. do they....?? I guess not, better so,
they are beautiful in nature.!

Thanks Liz. These animals are protected in our state so it is not possible to keep them as pets. A few places locally have permits to keep them and they do acclimate ok. I would agree that they are better left in the wild though.
