great airplane wreck series ...where did you take these ??

They were taken in Papua New Guinea in the early 1980's. The US aircraft are from the Dobudura area where the Americans had a base, the Japanese ones are from the Rabual area where the Japanese had their main base. Back then it was a common sight to see aircraft wrecks and other wreckage left over from World War II.
