in my opinion there are no hot spots perfect exposure i am betting the light is comming from behind her left shoulder from my view and it gives the shot a 3d look with more depth it would not be as nice without it. great shot as always. how many lights did you use and what are they.
Hi Stephen ... softbox 45 degrees to right side F8, shoot through brolly 90deg to left F5.6, snoot with a red gel shooting onto the grey background F 5.6, and a plain reflector bowl on a light set to F8 behind and high to the left as a hair light. You are right, there are actually no burnt out hot spots. Lights are Elinchrom BX 400's
I think the lighting on this is fabulous Miles, the highlights give the whole image some depth.
Colours in this are also excellent, the purple of her dress has a wonderful vibrancy, it's an all round fine piece of work!
