In this series of portraits, I'm more inclined to reflect the feelings rather than photojournalism (that I would like to try sometime in the future).
I took this one in the framer's market in Ramana, Dominican Republic. These ladies were selling the local medicine called 'Mama Juana' made of different roots and plants that need to be mixed with Rhum, wine, and honey.
The label on the bottle recommends a daily use of 1-2 tablespoons to "prevent/cure any kind of disease" ...
