Since we are in the 'Iran' series, I thought I could talk about the gender separation in this country. Since the Islamic Revolution, the veil has become mandatory for women. However, as we talked to people, we found the disconnection between genders way deeper in the Iranian culture. I thought these two shots put side by side nicely reflects this spirit ...
I took both of these shots with my Canonet QL17 GIII.
