Though I'm here......but I'd NEVER forget too. I was working on board the ship that anchored in the Gulf of thailand when it was happened. All TV. ch. were cutting into breaking news and we saw it! :(((

You are so right, i still know how i felt and what i thought when i heard the news on this day in radio at work. Its still unbelievable. Good that you did this to remember.

one thing though- we're at war because of those attacks, freedom isn't free and that's why we're fighting. If we were to pull out or have a new president in office that wouldn't make terrorism and all the problems magically disapear. We're over there so the war doesn't have to be over here.

I didn't post this to make a political statement or express my opinion about the war, I am just trying to remember all the people who were ripped from this earth as a result of a crime of hate...

This day revealed to people the true face of the evil on this planet. Unfortunately not all of us people are willing to face the unpleasant truth. This evil will not let go willingly.

Yeah, I'm still remembering. It's really a sad day. I'll never forget that morning...i remember it. I think everyone remembers where they were at and what they were doing when that happened. I was at school in my 3rd grade class.
Good post. My sister is a 9/11 survivor( was in a building about 2 blocks away saw the planes hit, towers fall, whole deal) and is still rattled by the experience.
Remember folks...Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11. Osama, the man who killed over 3,000 people that day is still free and Bush can't catch him !
Yes Saddam murdered his own people but that is no reason for the US to be in a war with him. As far as funding Al Quida, he, like all Arab leaders,( including our beloved Saudis) essentially paid off Osama. Remember, Saddam was on an Al Quida hit list.

the whole point of ButterflyShutterfly posting this wasn't to talk about how much we hate Bush and war. Instead of arguing just take a moment to think about what happened on 9/11. Instead of pointing fingers let's just be happy another attack like this hasn't happened here in the US. I can sit and point my finger at people I don't like all day, but are we really getting anywhere by doing that?
Very good tribute! That was the saddest day that will live in all of our memories forever. It was a day that the whole world weeped together as one, I remember sitting watching television as it was all unfolding, with tears. My prayer is that we all no matter where we are in this world can just live together as a family because we are a family.
