This is DeSoto Falls in Northeast Alabama. It is a 104 ft. tall and is a site to behold. I took this about two weeks ago after a lot of rain, so the volume of water was tremendous.

The golden glow was from the sun as it rose over the trees, lighting up the mist from the falls. It was an awesome site to behold.

Yes, Mick, this is a long exposure....about 1 second, maybe less. Waterfalls are one of my favorite subjects and I've learned how to shoot them pretty well over the last year.
