Well, the garden is in central Shanghai, so there is always the threat of "graphic pollution" in the form of skyscrapers and overhead electrical cables... :S

i understand perfectly. trying to find an "unspoiled" area anywhere in the world is almost impossible, at least in my experience...

Well, that is only because this garden is in downtown Shanghai. Were it in other parts, it would have a chance of remaining unspoilt.
