We visited a burial site 'Chauchilla Cemetery'.

The dryness of the air, has meant that these graves have been very well preserved.

The dreadlocks on this one are simply incredible - they think this one must have been a priest.

It seems incredible, but these skeletons are not in some kind of indoor area, they are out in the open, only covered over by corrugated iron or tarpaulins.
The biggest problem for these types of 'tombs' is grave robbing, so they do have it fenced off and guarded, but still, it would be unheard of in many countries.
