As one of the procedures of Buddist memorial services after my uncle's funeral, which was on June 22, 2007, we went to lay his half of the cremated ash to the charnel house at Shitenno-ji Temple (Originally built in 593) . Another half will be buried under his tomb stone on a certain day.
