Brownsea Island, Dorset

Willow Warbler (Phylloscopus trochilus)

I know its a Male because it was singing!

A very common summer visitor to the UK, arriving in April. It inhabits open woody areas, Heaths, Parkland ect. It can be reliably told from the similar Chiffchaff by the colour of its legs, which on Chiffchaff are Dark Brown/Black.
