Feb 3, 2008: A new adventure begins! We're off on an eight-day "eco-tour" in Baja that promises to include kayaking and gray whales. We leave from the tiny Santa Rosa airport in a tiny plane (note propeller, but I think it's still got jet engines!). This will take us to LAX where we'll switch to another tiny plane for the flight to Loreto, BCS, Mexico.
