I am doing the End to End next year and as I pass through Boscastle this could be a good "water hole".
Although I not to keen about a pint on the car park I thank you for sharing.

It looks a grand old building...

We have stayed here in one of the tower bedrooms. It was very strange having your bed in the middle of the room. It was owned by a very eccentric couple named Victor & Solange. He was massively overweight and he would sit on a table in the restaurant and devour two whole chickens with all the trimmings, washed down with a couple of bottles of wine. She was French and she would only come out and night and walk the corridors like a ghost. But we enjoyed our stay here:-))
